The MyVision 2011 participants have all returned from the second day of their assignments, so tonight is all about finding out how the lessons of Monday night’s critiques have sunk in. Wednesday will be spent pulling together slideshows for the final night’s presentation, but that’s a long way off for most of the photographers who have taken part in the second MyVision photojournalism workshop. Some fine images from Mr. James Stewart – Sunday evening – dinner followed by the introductory talks where each participant talked about a photo that inspires them or has special meaning – very emotional stuff for many – there were a few tears; underlining how powerful a good image can be. (more…)
It’s Monday night, which means that the photographers taking part in MyVision 2011 have returned from the first day of their assignments and will be discussing their work with their teams until the small hours. Everyone has to show everything they’ve shot to the rest of their team, so it’s a gruelling experience for all involved as their work is dissected and pointers are taken on board for the following day, when the participants will be heading back to their assignments for a second day of photojournalism.
